Seeing my mother struggle as a working mom to take care of us meant that I had to grow up quickly and take on many responsibilities. The time we spent together made me appreciate how hard my mother had to work as well as strengthened my relationship with her.
Working has always been part of my life. While I have a lot of responsibility and I oversee each project from start to finish, it gives me a lot of satisfaction. Work has lead to many things in my life. For one, I met David, my husband when we both were working at 3M in Saint Paul, Minnesota. At that time I was working as an assistant in the health care field while he was working as a security guard.
