So thank you Alice Walker. Toni Morrison, Sonia Sanchez, Theresa Hak Gyung Cha, Jessica Hagedorn, Ntozake Shange, Sandra Cisneros, Arundhati Roy – for being proud, unforgiving, passionate women, in life and on the page. I hope we can look at ourselves honestly and leave a record of our lives as beautifully as you have so we can all add to the dialogue of what it means to be human and woman in this world.
