ChinaGALLERYCONVERSATION
This series of paintings reflects the pursuit of a harmonious romantic life.

The women in these pictures are eager to enjoy the pleasures of romantic relationships, but at the same time, they are inhibited by traditional morals about sexuality. When they finally break these chains, they begin to enjoy themselves and increase their own sense of satisfaction.

I believe that are women are eager to enjoy the pleasures of a romantice relationsip. All women wanted to be loved by someone and have someone to come home to and jus cuddle on the sofa. In the second oic it seems as if the girl is just waiting for the right man to come along and love her the way she always dream of love. I think that girls put too much time and effort into getting a man.

I liked these pictures and thought they were really good. In each picture you can get an idea for whats goin on in it.

I find all of the pictures very interesting and each one telling a different story. In the first picture the woman looks happy with her man. In the 2nd picture the women look miserable like they are waiting for love but giving up hope. In the 3rd picture the women still look unhappy with their love life, but at the same time could be thinking about the desire to love the one they cannot have.

the desire, needs and boringness is what i see in pic 2 and 3. they are waiting.. waiting for the love to come to filled their emptiness.... which they think it is empty. your painting is very good! I guess this is why we call a pic speaks a thousand words..... if look closely, we could actually see and feel the emotion within.

I'd like to meet these women in your paintings and chat with them over lunch. I think young women in Singapore are struggling with similar conflicts between traditional morality and romantic pleasures.
