My generation of men is defined by change. The way I see it, in the past men were the dominant partner in a relationship; they were the ones who courted the women, they made the decisions, they were the ones to propose marriage, and they supported the family financially. Today the roles are changing. Relationships are more liberal; women often take leading roles, and the saying “Behind every strong man stands a strong woman,” is no longer valid, since women are now sometimes clearly in front.
Men are more aware of their emotions these days, which makes them either stronger or weaker, I guess that is in the eye of the beholder. Regardless, they are no longer taking a lead role in relationships.
