Unfortunately, the new expectation, whether internal or external, is that we do it all. And the challenge becomes balance.
My photograph "Balance" deals with this idea through the concept of the most elemental connection, that between a mother and child.
My photographic works explore alternative ways of looking at the world around us, with the hope that by presenting commonplace relationships, objects, and scenes with a different perspective we will arouse and stimulate the curious, engaged parts of ourselves that feed our creative spirit.
