A Drop in Oicata (18 min)
Diana Logreira Campos
ColombiaGALLERYCONVERSATION
My sister was invited to act as a juror in the pageant and I came along to what promised to be a quaint outing.
In Oicata I was both an insider and an outsider.  I came from afar, yet I both felt a very strong cultural connection with the people at the festival and could identify with their quiet satisfaction.
In my films I highlight personal adventures that fill our days with happiness. It is these events, I believe, that shape our lives. Through my films I hope to encourage my generation of women to simply enjoy life and achieve personal goals.
